A beautiful lounge chair by Dutch designer Dirk van Sliedregt in highly recognizable style. Manufactured in the Netherlands around 1950.
The chair, model 587, has a tubular black lacquered metal base with wicker upholstery. The clean black metal and natural structure of the wicker contrast nicely to each other and work really well with the elegant shape and design and makes this a highly recognizable find of Dutch mid-century design!
It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
